Why This Role is Important to Us:


The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls with potential members. This role will focus on prospecting leads, generating interest in our programs, making product recommendations, and helping customers enroll in our programs. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager.
Preference for the candidate to currently live in Rhode Island (position will be remote/home based)
Bilingual - Spanish language proficiency required.



What You'll Be Doing:


  • The Inside Sales Representative is expected to work in a call center environment with a team of other licensed agents to achieve individual and department goals.
  • Qualify prospects by verifying eligibility, performing a needs analysis, checking network considerations, and determine the proper next step in the sales cycle
  • Use a consultative sales approach to educate prospects on our products, generate interest in our mission, and make appropriate product recommendations based on the prospect's needs
  • Document all inbound and outbound interactions in our CRM with summary notes, call outcomes, and follow up activity when required
  • Enroll interested prospects in our products using the company telephonic enrollment platform or book appointments for in-person meetings
  • Make outbound calls to company provided leads that have given permission to contact and wish to learn more about our company or services
  • Maintain inbound queue service level performance by working with larger team to coordinate breaks, outbound call activity, and idle time
  • Adhere to CMS guidelines and company approved telephonic scripts, policies, and procedures
  • Achieve required quality standards for ongoing call monitoring and quality control
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals
  • Occasionally assist with special projects as needed
  • Provide feedback on sales processes and/or products to facilitate process improvement in operations and future product development
  • Participate in ongoing and annual sales or product training
  • Assist with RSVPs for outreach events or activity if needed
  • Support future sales channels of communication with prospects, such as email, web portal, or SMS
Working Conditions:
  • Flexible schedule to work nights and/or weekends during busy season (Oct to Mar)
  • Most work is performed remotely from home. Travel may be required to local office or community event for training or development, or for staff meetings as needed.

The possible salary range budgeted for this position is $55K - $65K dependent on experience.




What We're Looking For:


Required Education:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
Required Licensing:
  • Active Resident Health Producer's License for Rhode Island.
  • Annual AHIP Certification.
Required Experience:
  • 1-2 years' experience with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and/or health insurance industry
  • 1-2 years' experience in sales, sales support, or customer support in a call center setting
  • Previous experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce or Market Prominence
  • Experience working with seniors, limited income, or disabled individuals
RequiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Computer literate with ability to navigate multiple open windows at a time and use different types of software to achieve objectives
  • Familiarity with federal and state insurance assistance programs (Extra Help/Medicare Savings)
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Open to coaching and constructive feedback to improve performance
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening skills, problem solving ability and high degree of empathy
  • Ability to navigate telephone software and display proper phone etiquette
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers, specifically Microsoft Office suite. Must have ability to learn new systems and databases that CCA implements.
  • Must be proficient with CRM systems, specifically salesforce
PreferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have solid understanding of CCA's systems and how data and technology can be used to solve specific business problems
